Workbook Guide
This workbook is broken down into chapters addressing a different life design stage. Each chapter includes exercises to help you build adaptability, creative problem-solving, and mindfulness. You don’t need to complete everything in one go. Take your time, and revisit sections that feel important. The more you engage with the exercises, the more you learn about yourself and your needs.
Throughout this workbook, the Mindful Method guides you through six key stages:
Mindset: Cultivating an open, growth-oriented mindset that embraces change.
Understand: Develop deeper self-awareness by examining your thoughts, behaviors, and responses.
Define: Clearly articulating the challenges or goals you want to focus on.
Create: Generating creative solutions and experimenting with different approaches.
Measure: Reflect on the outcomes of your experiments to determine what worked and what didn’t.
Evolve: Applying what you’ve learned to continue growing and adapting over time.
Time Commitment:
Each chapter is a milestone that guides you through a scientific approach. This means you must complete each exercise but don’t need to spend the same time on each. Completing the workbook should take over a week but less than a month.
Exercise Materials:
Each exercise guides you through developing mindfulness for creative problem-solving and adaptability. Every chapter provides exercises to help you develop the skills to cultivate a mindful, adaptable approach to change and create innovative solutions. Physical or digital notebooks allow you to record your completed exercises in a place where you can add more details and reflection. It's highly recommended that you use a notebook because you should expect to use the workbook more than once. Having a record will allow you to review your progress in applying The Mindful Method over time.
